Pursuant to Art. 5 of Legislative Decree 185/1999, the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement for any reason, without the need to provide any explanations and without any penalty, within 10 days of receipt of the goods. Marketing products with a high risk of perishability, Giuseppe La Mendola also accepts the following conditions: the customer has the right to cancel the purchase of fresh goods at risk of perishability in the event that at the time of opening the package the product has altered or does not have the characteristics specified at the time of the purchase. The right to cancel products at risk of deterioration can be exercised by sending, within 24 hours of receiving the goods, a written communication via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The communication must indicate: the number, date of the order, the name of the customer and the description of the products to be returned; if possible also attaching a photo of the aforementioned products. Furthermore, in order to allow the accreditation of the value of any returned goods, the bank details relating to your current account must be provided. Giuseppe la Mendola will take care of collecting the goods as soon as the communication is received from the customer and in any case no later than 24 hours, so that the goods do not deteriorate further. If present, the products must be shipped with the insulated packaging and dry ice used for shipping. Giuseppe la Mendola reserves the right to assess the actual deterioration of the fresh product upon return. If the product is found not to have lost its freshness, this will be communicated to the customer and there will be no refund of the price paid.
The right to cancel is, however subject, to the following conditions:
the right applies to the product purchased in its entirety; it is not possible to exercise the right to cancel only on part of the product purchased; the shipping costs for returning the goods are charged to the customer.
